HOW TO PLAY KRILLION
A strategic survival guide for descending into the linguistic abyss.

01. The Inverted Trivia Principle
Traditional trivia tests whether you know the correct answer. Krillion flips the incentive: everyone knows the obvious answer. If the prompt is "Name an African country", typing "Egypt" proves you know geography, but it is too common to award points.
To dive deep into the ocean, you must train your memory recall to bypass the first 5 thoughts that enter your head and excavate the 20th item on the list.
02. The Pressure Clock
You have 35 seconds to type a single valid entry. No multiple choice. You must spell the word accurately enough for the fuzzy matcher to resolve it.
💡 Keyboard Tip:
Hit Enter the second you have typed a promising rare candidate. Do not waste 20 seconds trying to brainstorm an even rarer word if you already have a solid Deep Cut in mind.
03. Endless Mode Oxygen Economics
Your submarine begins each Endless run with 3 Oxygen Tanks.
- ✓ Schooler (+250m) or Rare (+500m): Counts as successful dive, maintains current oxygen.
- ★ Deep Cut (+750m) or One in a Krillion (+1,000m): Refills +1 Oxygen tank (up to maximum 3).
- ✗ Plankton (+0m), Unrecognized, or Timeout: Penalizes -1 Oxygen tank. When tanks hit 0, the dive terminates.
